Fire Resistant Shutters
Suitable for use in areas where protection from the spread of fire is required. Our shutters provide up to 4 Hours protection and have been manufactured in accordance with the specification BS476 Part 22
Operation
Designed to close in the event of a fire, once triggered, the heavy-duty steel curtain closes and effectively creates a fire wall which is rated up to 4 hour.
Fire Shutters use a specially designed clutch disengagement system which, when activated, allows the curtain to drop under the force of gravity in a controlled manner.
